Description

Established in 2016, The Little Ale House has quickly become a local favourite. It was created by husband and wife team Rich and Danni, in an effort to recreate a rustic country pub atmosphere in Harrogate town centre.

Run along micropub lines, this small, intimate, venue champions good drinks, conversation, and a warm atmosphere. It completely shuns TVs, background music and pub gastrofication!

Rich and Dan take their booze, particularly their beer, seriously. There’s an everchanging range of well-kept micro-brewed beer, with five cask lines and five craft beer lines. In addition, they champion local gin producers and single malt whisky. A small but well-formed wine list is also on offer.

With a strong local following, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxing hideaway. You may even be lucky enough to meet pub dog Mo.
